Carpet Booth StudioS

Carpet Booth Studios started as a songwriting and production space for Zach Zurn in Rochester, MN and soon expanded into a full-service professional recording and production studio in 2017. After outgrowing their first space, Carpet Booth expanded into a former church building in Rochester, MN to build out their Studio A, Studio B, and amenities.

Since then, Carpet Booth has been honored to work with both talent from the upper Midwest area and artists from outside of their region.

With successes like gold and platinum records and award nominations, and helping regional artists begin to find their own successes in the industry, Carpet Booth hopes to continue to make impactful art with people from every background.

OUR TEAM

Zach Zurn

  • Zach Zurn is a songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer from Rochester, Minnesota. He has a love for offset guitars, honest songwriting, and clever lyricism. He seeks to create thoughtful and inspiring music.

    Zach studied Music with an emphasis in Voice and Composition at Winona State University and continued his education studying Music Production at Berklee College of Music online.

    Zach is available for production, engineering, mixing, songwriting assistance, co-writing, session work, mastering, and more.

Nikola Hamilton

  • Nikola Hamilton is an audio engineer, singer, & songwriter from Rochester, Minnesota. His involvement in the local music and arts scene has fed into his passion for music and the creative arts. He is driven to make purposeful and honest music with artists from every genre.

    Nik is available for editing, mixing, mastering, and more.

Charlie burket

  • Charlie Burket is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, mixer, and audio engineer. Originally from Rochester MN, he is currently based out of Boston studying music production and bass performance at Berklee College of Music. He spends his time listening to and making emo, pop punk, and other adjacent indie rock genres, but has produced a wide variety of genres. When producing, Charlie strives to make musical decisions that will best serve the song and the artist, working to find balance between artist development and the roots of their overall sound.

WyATT MORAN

  • Wyatt Moran is a multi-hyphenate producer and session musician currently living in Boston, MA. He began his journey at Carpet Booth as a junior in high school, and honed his talents working as a session musician playing on nearly every project to come out of the studio. Wyatt studies at the Berklee College of Music, where he is pursuing a degree in Professional Music with concentrations in Music Production, Songwriting, and Music Business. Wyatt has learned from true masters of the craft, and produces on both indie rock and folk records, but has experience in many genres.

AMIR OMRANI

  • Amir Omrani is a producer and audio engineer, as well as a singer and songwriter, originally from Shiraz, Iran and currently based in Rochester, Minnesota. With a deep understanding of the technical aspects of music creation, Amir is dedicated to crafting high-quality and memorable songs and performances. Whether working with artists to develop their own unique sound or creating original compositions, Amir is always striving to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of music.

    Amir is available for production, mixing, and mastering.

JACK LIEDEL

  • Jack Liedel is a multi-instrumentalist, song writer, engineer, and producer based out of Rochester Minnesota. With a strong technical use of various outboard gear that was surely second nature from the start, Liedel applies an often outside the box approach to making your project sound special. Jack looks forward to finding out what your personal inspiration is to help fully realize your sound and voice as an artist.

    Jack has spent over half of their life playing in various bands and recording at home, with over four years worth of collective drum and guitar lessons. An additional two years of interning at Carpetbooth has been informative in rounding out their technique as a skilled engineer, producer, and musician.

BRIAN RUDQUIST

  • Brian Rudquist is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer from Rochester, Minnesota. His passion for excellence and creative musicianship are heard throughout his work. Brian spends his time listening to, and producing, many genres from jazz fusion to neo soul and even indie pop. With a wide background in music genres, Brian is an asset to any musical project.

    Brian studied Music Performance and Production at North Central University.

    Brian is available for engineering, production, session work, and composition projects.
